VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Rise FC announced on Thursday that National Bank has joined Rise FC as the club’s Official Financial Institution and Founding Front-of-Kit Partner.

National Bank joins the defending Northern Super League (NSL) champions on a deal running through the end of the 2027 season. The partnership will feature on both the After Dark and Sunshine jerseys, and debut this coming Saturday, July 25 when the team takes on Halifax Tides FC at Swangard Stadium. National Bank will also be included on Rise FC retail jerseys, beginning today at shop.vanrisefc.com.

VANCOUVER, BC (JULY 21, 2026) – Vancouver Rise FC forward Mariah Lee announced her retirement on Monday, concluding an impressive career that’s spanned seven countries and three continents. Lee will play her last game this coming Saturday, July 25 against Halifax Tides FC at Swangard Stadium.

“Playing this sport for as long as I have has been a blessing,” said Lee. “I've gotten to pursue my dreams all over the world, and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to end my career than here in Vancouver with Rise FC.”

VANCOUVER, BC (July 21, 2026) – Vancouver Rise FC Academy are set to face Nottingham Forest Women in the 2026 Kamloops International Cup (KIC) this coming Saturday, July 25. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. PT at Hillside Stadium, with more information available at kamloopsinternationalcup.com.

The countdown is officially on to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

NORTH YORK, ON – It was a perfect Saturday afternoon for Vancouver Rise FC at York Lions Stadium in North York, as they capitalized on an electric start to defeat AFC Toronto 3-0, pushing them up to third place in the table.

Rise FC caught fire quickly, scoring inside the first 120 seconds of the match. After Maithé López won back possession up high, Jessica De Filippo held up the ball near the edge of Toronto’s box. The forward laid it off for Quinn to hit a first time cross towards the back post, where the onrushing Anna Bout hit a diving shot and turned it in for 1-0.

BUILDING MOMENTUM: Rise FC got back to winning ways this past Saturday, coming back from 2-1 down to win 4-2 against Calgary Wild FC for their first road win in Alberta. Mia Pante started the proceedings with her first ever professional goal in the seventh minute, before Mariah Lee opened up her account for the season from the penalty spot shortly before halftime, to get Rise FC back level after falling behind 2-1. A late flurry of attacks saw substitutes Josie Longhurst and Maithé López combine for the former to pull Rise FC back ahead to 3-2, with López popping up with a fourth in added time to add a debut goal to her debut assist. Now with the wind under their sails, Rise FC travel to Toronto with the hopes of building off this win and developing a bit of momentum.

VANCOUVER, BC (July 16, 2026) - Canada Soccer announced on Thursday the launch of the W Canadian Championship, a new national competition for women’s soccer in Canada.

The new competition will see eight teams from two leagues compete later this year to become the inaugural W Canadian Championship winners and earn a place in the 2027 Concacaf W Champions Cup. Six teams will be from the Northern Super League (NSL) and two will be from the Premier Soccer Leagues Canada (PSLC), as Concacaf requires an eight-team competition for Canada to send a club to the Concacaf W Champions Cup.

Co-founded by Canadian soccer icon Desiree Scott and acclaimed technical director Rob Gale, the new club brings professional women’s soccer to Manitoba for the 2027 season.

(WINNIPEG, MB) July 14, 2026 — The Northern Super League (NSL) announced today that Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been awarded the league's seventh franchise. The club is founded by Winnipeg native and legendary former Canadian international Desiree Scott, who steps in as Vice President, Community & Player Experience, and Rob Gale, who will serve as Chief Sporting Officer. Together, they will help build the franchise ahead of its highly anticipated 2027 debut.

CALGARY, AB (July 11, 2026) – It took a gritty effort, but Vancouver Rise FC finally secured their first win in Calgary with a pair of late goals at McMahon Stadium to top Calgary Wild FC 4-2.

Rise FC opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Mia Pante. The Vancouver native sped down the left flank, all the way into Calgary's box before finishing with her right foot past goalkeeper Katelin Talbert to make it 1-0.

VANCOUVER, BC – Thursday night saw Vancouver Rise FC Academy clinch the 2026 British Columbia Premier League (BCPL) title after defeating TSS Rovers 2-0 at Swangard Stadium.

"It has been incredibly rewarding to watch such a young group compete with consistency and maturity at a high level throughout the season,” said Rise FC Academy interim head coach Esteban Mora. “I hope the experiences they’ve gained through this team, and this league, provide a strong foundation for long, successful careers in the game. TURNING PERFORMANCES INTO POINTS: Rise FC have been playing some great football in recent weeks, despite not taking full points in their last two games. Against Ottawa Rapid FC earlier this month, Rise FC had plenty of chances in the first half, but couldn’t capitalize on them to secure the win, and later against Halifax Tides FC, Rise FC were mere minutes away from taking all three points in a tough road match before a Julianne Vallerand equalizer forced Rise FC to share the spoils. “We are creating chances, so we do have that chemistry and we’re still building that chemistry,” said Rise FC defender Tori Tumeth after the Rapid FC game. “There’s probably a few missing pieces that we still need to put together, but so far so good.” Should Rise FC finally get those pieces to click on Sunday, they could be looking at yet another famous win against AFC Toronto at home.

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Rise FC announced on Friday that kickoff time for the Sunday, June 28 home match against AFC Toronto at Swangard Stadium has been changed from 2 p.m. PT to 3:30 p.m. PT.

The change has been made in order to avoid conflicting with the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match at 12 p.m. PT.
