<p>Halifax, N.S. (May 29, 2026) – D.B. Pridham struck late for Rapid FC to clinch a 2-1 win over Halifax Tides FC on Friday evening at Wanderers Ground. With the win, Rapid FC (4-0-2) create distance in the Northern Super League table, currently sitting in second place with 12 points.</p>
<p>Ottawa struck first off the foot of Jyllissa Harris. In the 38th minute, Harris capitalized on a rebound chance net-front to bury her first-ever NSL goal. In the 70th minute, Halifax evened things up with a strike from Julia Benati. D.B. Pridham gave Ottawa the win late in the second half, burying a rebound in the 88th minute. The 2025 Golden Boot winner now has three goals and three assists in six games this season.</p>

It was the first meeting between the two squads since Vancouver eliminated Ottawa from the NSL playoffs on penalties in the semi-finals last November. With their second consecutive win, Rapid FC (2-0-1) jump to second place in the Northern Super League table with six points.</p>
<p>Kayla Adamek opened the scoring for Rapid FC off a feed from Keera Melenhorst for her first of the season. In the 36th minute, Pridham scored her first of the year off a through ball from Melenhorst. Earning her third assist in three games, Melenhorst now leads the league in assists. Pridham completed her brace six minutes later, finishing a ball that deflected her way in the box.</p>
